Two ways to begin.

Start with an account. Add an API key only if you want an external AI agent to work with Mixio.

Work directly in Studio.

Sign up or sign in, create a project, and use Mixio in the browser. You do not need an API key or an AI agent for this path.

    Create your account

    Sign in to Mixio Studio or create an account.

  2. 02

    Create an API key

    In Dashboard → API Keys, create a key for your agent’s work. Copy it once and store it privately. Enter it in your AI client’s credential settings or local setup; do not paste it into a chat or repository.

    Ask your agent to connect Mixio

    The agent installs the official Mixio skills and configures @mixio-pro/mcp for your AI client. Use the prompt below so it preserves your existing settings.

    Check the connection

    Ask for the results of studio_ping, studio_list_projects, and the availability of mixio-pipeline. An empty project list is a valid result for a new account. No generation job is needed to test setup.

Run studio_ping and studio_list_projects, then confirm mixio-pipeline is
available. Report the results and any remaining setup error. Do not run a
billable generation job to test the connection.

Do I need an API key to use Mixio in the browser?

No. Sign in to Mixio Studio for browser use. An API key is needed when connecting an external AI agent through MCP.

What should a successful MCP setup report?

Your agent should confirm that the Mixio skills are available, studio_ping succeeds, and studio_list_projects returns projects or an empty list. An empty list is normal for a new account.

Should I paste my API key into an AI chat?

No. Create the key in your Studio dashboard and enter it through your local setup or AI client credential settings. Keep it out of chat messages and shared files.
